Scrambler Owners Association GREAT 8 Restoration/Raffle Project 1982 Jeep CJ-8 Scrambler
Official Rules, as well as links to project details and the official Ticket Order Form can now be found on menu links to the left. All net proceeds are going to be split equally between two great charities St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and BlueRibbon Coalition.
This has been a nationwide project, so pulling the logistics together presented an exciting challenge. The rolling chassis was assembled in Virginia, while a rust-free OEM Scrambler body was restored in Moab, Utah. The two were brought together at the 3rd Annual S.O.A. "National Scramble" event in Moab in June. Finally, a father & son team from Thayer, Kansas (who own several Scramblers of their own) brought the whole project to completion, and did a phenomenal job with the detail work. In fact, it just won a trophy for "Best in Show: "All Others 1976 & Later" (non-big 3) in a car show this Memorial weekend of 2007.
